It was a mixed April at Pixus, with our senior content writer, Dan Sarath, leaving us only a week before we welcomed two new writers to our content team.
After a tear-stained week, with much rending of clothes and sad cups of tea, the team fought through their grief and have welcomed social media marketing expert Laura Nicholson and blogging guru Gina Daniel to the team, rounding the team to five writers and bringing some much-welcomed new perspectives to the table.
Laura’s background is in social media management and digital marketing, and she’s making strides to streamline and expand our social media representation, as well as providing excellent critique on the office lunches and nearby eateries, while Gina has an extensive blogging and writing history, and is getting stuck in to learning SEO to provide more top-tier content for our clients, as well as keeping everyone up to date on the biggest and most cutting-edge professional wrestling news the office could wish for.
They join Dan, Leila and Taryn on the content team and have allowed the writers to take on new projects and take bigger risks in content marketing techniques – which, in turn, means more successful innovation for our client sites.
Pixus hasn’t stopped there though, and is currently looking to further expand its content writing department with more new writers, as well as looking for a new front-end web developer, a junior web designer and a new SEO team member.
The new junior designer will train with Abi and Joe and begin building high-quality, user-friendly websites for our clients, while content team busily create all the needed search-engine friendly content and the SEOs train with Jon, Dan R, Ronnie and Jordan to make sure the site represents our client as excellently as they deserve.
So if you (or anyone you know) is interested in writing content for us, trying their hand at web design, or setting sail into the ever-changing world of SEO, you can contact us here or on our social media accounts, send us off your CV or portfolio and let us know what you’re interested in, and we’ll have a look!
We’re always on the lookout for new talent, so even if you’re hoping to apply for something other than writing, SEO or design, get in touch and tell us what you’re great at. We might just have the job for you.
