Most websites feature a blog (ours does) yet for many businesses it is an underutilised resource featuring an occasional post written purely to build a few internal links in the hope of giving your key landing pages some sort of boost.

Regularly Update Your Email Signature
Most businesses send out hundreds of emails a week so an easy way to get your blog in front of people is to amend the signature on your email to link to your latest blog post.
If you use Gmail to manage your emails this is very simple to do, go to the cog icon > Settings and then scroll down to the signature box and put a link there to your latest article.
This is a great way of sharing your companies latest news articles as it avoids email spamming all your contacts and yet means that your contacts are far more likely to click through to the article because it isn’t unsolicited.
Encourage Different Staff Members To Write For Your Blog
If you are a regular reader of our blog you will notice that sometimes I write a post, sometimes Ronnie writes a post, other times Leila, Taryn and other staff members will write for us.
Encouraging different people who have varying roles in your business to write for your blog is a great way of ensuring that you get regular and varied content on your site and it also prevents the blog writing process from becoming too much of a chore – I haven’t written a Pixus blog post since July so I’m feeling fresh as a content writing daisy right now!
