The Client

Used Kitchen Exchange is a leading UK seller of used and ex-display kitchens. They act as a broker between both customers and showrooms in order to streamline the process of buying and selling kitchens online.

Founded in 2015, Used Kitchen Exchange is rapidly becoming the #1 online showroom for used and ex-display kitchens.

Background

Used Kitchen Exchange approached us in 2017 with the desire to increase traffic and conversions for people looking to either buy or sell a used kitchen.

Once we understood their company values and what they wanted to achieve, it was up to us to develop both an organic and paid strategy that will achieve the online objectives.

The Process

The core objective of the marketing campaign was to increase both buy and sell enquiries through the website. In order to achieve our objectives, we had to analyse the current market and identify both organic and paid keywords that would help us achieve our goals.

For the SEO, we identified high potential keywords that were cresting page one of Google and targeted these keyword phrases as quick wins. Once we had achieved these rankings, we then focused on improving the positions on some of the more generic high volume keywords.

We also created Search and Display PPC campaigns on Google Ads, initially helping to raise brand awareness for the relatively new concept of a kitchen exchange. Over time, more campaigns were built which focused on lead generation for people wanting to sell their kitchens and those wanting to buy used, second-hand or ex-display kitchens.
